Another great week with more than 50 players out for a fun night in Denton!
The Kop were on TOP at the halftime last week as 404 Team Not Found were so close they could read the tag on their skivvies. But don’t look now, because there was two more teams right on 404’s heels tied up for 3rd place – Guys and Dolls and Old Farts.
So, somebody got me in trouble last week for not explaining the “socials” and anti-socials.” Since these elements are not part of your points and have no real bearing on the outcome of the game, I figured, it’s one of the things we do, in-house, that’s just fun and you’ll pick it up on your own if you want. I also didn’t explain the “Sports” callback or that Geography is ERF! Nor did we discuss pronunciations of words like Books. That’s the “yah adda be there” stuff and you shouldn’t worry your purdy lil’ heads about it. I’m just glad nobody complained about volume (other than Blue, of course, but she does it to my face).

Running headlong into the final, Old Farts had climbed to the top position as The Crew held the 2nd place spot and 404 Team Not Found were sittin’ in 3rd. But then, there’s that final query. This game changes minute by minute!
