Wow! 14 teams? What a turnout! Y’all ROCK! Thanks for making our gameshow at the Pub so much fun. Apologies to the lone complaint about loud music and a headache. I know loud music isn’t for everyone and tried to not get too loud. Please come tell me when you feel it’s too loud. I will do my best to find that middle ground so everyone has a great time! By the way, as to the “too long between questions” thing, I can only go as fast as all teams turn their answers in! You may notice that when all teams are in early, I fade the song out early. Also, we had 2 do-overs last week which makes our time run long. Ideally, I’d like to have game over at 8:35. That’s my goal.
Since we take photos and sometimes stream on YouTube, I will again ask that teams try to avoid the farthest reaches of the room and let’s settle in starting in the middle and working out as more teams arrive. I understand if you choose a spot for your sound preferences, though.
At the end of the first round, Cheap Thrills were enjoying those cheap thrills by landing on top of the impressive and massive audience for tonight's game. Tied up in 2nd place was We're All Mad Here and Team Fashion.
For your Round 2 Super-Secret Art Bonus, draw a speaker. 4 points if it’s in 2 or more colors, otherwise 3 points. As for photos, only 8 of the 14 teams successfully sent me useable photos. This tells me either you aren’t interested in the bonus points for liking and commenting on your photos, or you don’t plan to return, or you had problems with the app. Again, come talk to me if in doubt. I will verify if your pic came through or not. Meanwhile, check our facebook page after the newsletter goes out and be sure you LIKE and COMMENT on your team’s pic, not the whole set! It will appear in the feed, so you don’t have to go digging for photos. As we finished up the 2nd half and headed into the final, Cheap Thrills were still on top, but We're All Mad Here managed to land the lone 2nd place spot as Loopers and The Kop were neck and neck in 3rd place. In the end, it just comes down to knowledge, luck, and a wise wager.
