Hey, y'all!
As I said during the game last week, we are entering our traditionally second-largest attendance slump of the year. Help us help you have fun! As "back-to-school" comes arund, there's a slew of folks who have to relearn a new weekly schedule.
Other folks are trying to squeeze in that last vacation of the summer.
Whatever the causes, it's enough to make a restaurant owner skittish. So, if you can, plan to be with us this week and upcoming weeks as we work to weather the storm. Remember, game over by 8:44 means you can be home and in bed by 9:30... unless you don't want that... of course.
OK, so let's talk game review form last week. Old Farts were in the lead at halftime but only by a single point as Green Fox returned to wreak havoc on the proceedings. Team Merken rolled up in 3rd place.
Want those bonus points? Sure you do. Draw an apple, like the kind you put on the teacher's desk to help turn that C+ into a B-. Use 2 or more colors for the full 4 points.
Going into the final, Green Fox had leapt o'er top the Old Farts to take 1st by 5 points. Army of One (plus reinforcements) pulled their sock up high and landed in a tie for 3rd with Merken.
