So... there must be a lot going on for Carolinites. Carolinium? Residents of Caroline and surrounding counties... Cuz it was kinda lonelyish last week as 4 teams came out to spread the Christmas cheer with their brightly colored apparel. (Thanks so much to those who came to play!)
In order of registration, we saw Run CDC (who could outrun the other CDC in a three-legged race), Family Affair (who, as one of my newly adopted families, needs to invite me over for dinner), Old Farts (who will not invite me over for dinner until I turn that dad-blasted music DOWN!), and 404: Team Not Found (who are nothing if not a group of friends who really, REALLY appreciate 69).
Speaking of Round 2 Art Bonuses... Draw a Christmas cookie this week (even you, Family Affair). 2 colors=4 points.
It was a tight first half, score-wise as only 5 points separated the mice from the bigger, smarter mice. 404: TNF was on top with Family Affair just 2 mice back and Old Farts another 2 mice back. (x5 + y5 +z5 = 1point if a point can be measured in mice.)
Remember to get your bonus pic points by completing the phrase "My team is (TEAM NAME) and ..." As of press time, 2 teams had completed this task and did so very well, while one team may have "liked" their pic, there was no "My Team Name is... and..." comment, and Old Farts failed at a photo (but they can make the phrase work for their Art Bonus draw of an alleged Nutcracker if they want the points.)

Run CDC and 404:TNF were tied up going into and coming out of the final for first place. After a tiebreaker question, we all discovered another reason to love 69 as 404:TNF used it to push Run CDC down and steal their lollipop.
