Market Street Pub - Let's Do Trivia! - Blurb from 3/9/23

30 players on 8 teams, thanks so much for your support of The Pub's trivia night! Hopefully see y'all this Thursday!

In order of appearance last week: 404:Team Not Found (featuring the LDT Technical Assistance Department), Cooper's Lab Project (and we still aren't certain who Cooper is and who the project is), Run CDC (who are proven SPORTS! shouters), Three Cunning Linguists (who, it turned out, were cunning indeed!), Old Farts (who looked like a vision of their old selves), and The Bottom Line (which is a term that could describe many things from an accountant's spread sheet, to a salesman's quote, to that place on your boat you didn't clean after last season...).  Round 2 Art Bonus: Draw something Irish-related in 2 or more colors for 4 points at Round 2, Question 1. Then there's that OTHER 2 point bonus, the one where you LIKE and COMMENT on your pic from last week by completing the phrase "My team is (TEAM NAME) and ... (something clever you write from scratch each week)." pics were posted last week, but the link will get you there. Beat's scrolling.

As we added scores after the halftime question, Bottom was on top. The Bottom Line, that is. And below the bottom was Run CDC in 2nd, while a little farther below the bottom was 404: Team Not Found in a bid to retain the trophy for a 5th week in a row. And below THAT were the other three teams mentioned above.

Heading into the final query The Bottom Line not only remained on the top line, they increased the distance between the bottom and the lower bottom. Run CDC held onto to their below bottom place, 2nd, while Three Cunning Linguists went up one space closer to the bottom in 3rd, pushing 404:TNF even lower below bottom.

Then the final question, then the Top Pub Crawlers last week:

7)

6) Cooper's Lab Project

5) Old Farts

4) 404: Team Not Found

3) Three Cunning Linguists

2) ($10) Run CDC

1) ($25) The Bottom Line (with 62 points)

And there it is! 404:TNF's reign of Trivial Terror had been ended by a filthy boat. Will the said dirty dinghy return to defend the trophy at what may be the final Let's Do Trivia! at Market Street Pub?

Don't forget to wear the green!
