Market Street Pub - Let's Do Trivia! - Blurb from December

It was a dark and stormy night... then 51 people walked in and had a great time at the Pub! Not a long story but it has a happy ending.

So, LAST month's winners, Family Affair pulled the ol' *cough* I'm sick *cough* and let their 12 tickets expire with nary a hair showing up to defend their November win. I hope they get better.

Leading the field of 11 teams at halftime was That Team (Mostly) From Ridgely but not far behind them 404: Team Not Found were looking for a solid victory! Splinter Group rounded out the top three teams at the halftime.

A quick survey of teams revealed that about half of the people present had never been to our games before! What?! From whence do these people come? Point is, we sadly couldn't rely on our regulars last month and must keep priming the pump. Summer Besties will be back at school and work, as will another 10 or so of the people who came out in December. Help us by using your social media to bring in new players. We're already down to once per month, you don't want to go down to quarterly, do you?

So, draw a quarter for your Round 2 Art Bonus. 3 points with no bonus for color, i mean, quarters don't beg for a lot of color variation, am I right?

Heading into the final, 404: Team Not Found had added a few additional players and found themselves on top of the pile. That Team (Mostly) From Ridgely we close by in 2nd and we had a tie in 3rd place between It's All Greek To Me and Summer Besties. (What??????)

I hope y'all had a great Christmas and New Years! Hopefully we'll get the big screen operational the next time we come back. Thanks for your support of our gameshows.

NEXT GAME?  Not definite but put a hold on January 17 and 24, it will probably be one of those.

In January - you MUST reserve seats via Eventbrite (tickets will be FREE to avoid making y'all pay the additional fees!) but then please bring exact change cash $2 per person to play. All money goes toward prizes awarded that night!
