NEXT GAME - FRIDAY JAN 17 - 6:30pm
We had a slightly mighty game with 27 players on 6 teams. Where were you? Many regulars missing in action!
Merkin rolled in with a pocketful of moxie as the dominated the room, ending the first half a massive single point of a tie between Bye Buddy, Hope You Find Your Dad and Crap Knowledge tied for 2nd.
We played Music Bingo along with the trivia and anyone who got 5-in-a-row added 2 points to their team's score!
For a January Art Bonus, draw a glass of champagne at the Round 2, Question 1 white space.
Speaking of white space, Team Merkin got trampled under a foot of white noise as the went from the top to the bottom as we headed into the final questions! That being said, they're a fine group of people and they bring a joyful atmosphere to our games and are muchly appreciated!
On top going into the final was a tie between Bye Buddy, Hope You Find Your Father and Crap Knowledge while Old Farts got into gear in 3rd place.
Then came the final, a bunch of Christmas hugs, A TROPHY delivery (a real trophy this time) and the awarding of the cash as Old Farts pulled some kind of Vulcan Mind Meld on everybody and nailed the final. Christmas With Augie stepped out from under their dark table to ALSO nail the final with a 20-point wager to take 2nd place! Bye Buddy held on with a safe wager to land the impressive $3 3rd place prize.
