🎷 Funky Vibes in Denton!
What a sensational night of trivia and tunes on Friday, July 17th!
We had a blast with 11 stellar teams and 50 fantastic patrons! Look around, though, there's room for another 100! Let's fill up the Pub's Third Edition!
The room was absolutely bursting with laughs, high energy, and great vibes.
Plus, we raised $105 in cash prizes directly from our players!
🎱 A Funky Twist!
This isn't just any ordinary trivia night. We smash together trivia with a round of Play That Funky Bingo!
Every individual funky bingo adds an extra point to the team's scoreboard, plus, all bingo winners went on the prize wheel for a shot at $15 cash!
A massive shoutout to Eileen, who spun her way to the cash victory in July's game! 💸
📈 The Halftime Hustle
The first half was an absolute nail-biter.
My Favorite Team held a razor-thin lead at halftime with 43 points.
Hot on their heels was a massive three-way tie for second place! (Speaking of hot heels, for the Super Secret Art Bonus at Round 2 in September, draw a nice high-heeled shoe and earn 3 points. Make it cute.)
Augie's Lab Partners, Amherst four, and Stink Pickles all sat at 42 points.
🧠 Drama Before the Final
The second half turned up the heat on the leaderboard.
That Team From Ridgely surged into first place with 75 points.
Amherst four kept the pressure high in second with 72 points.
Only 27 points separated first from last, leaving the game wide open!
🏆 The Final Question Plot Twist!
The Final Question absolutely flipped the script!
The question was a total brain-buster, stumping 10 out of the 11 teams.
But Amherst four came through with the only correct answer in the room!
They wagered a smart 4 points, vaulting into 1st place with 76 points to take the $40 top cash prize! 🥇
That Team From Ridgely grabbed a strong 2nd place and $30 cash with 65 points. 🥈
Crap Knowledge rounded out the money winners in 3rd, taking home $20 cash with 60 points! 🥉
